June

Summer has a special scent and pulse for me. It's the season when no matter the exterior circumstances I feel better than ever. Exams seem much easier on summer than on winter, life seems less complicated, and the people around seem much nicer. Summer brings out the best in the world for me and June is just the beginning, the warm-up. Combining stressful exams with a lot of reading and learning, I still have time for jogging in the morning sun, for walks on lazy summer evenings, all these flavored by a bowl full of fresh cherries. Nothing can shed darkness into my June picture.
Today's song is entitled, of course, June. Try thinking of a cool summer night. You're sitting on a balcony gazing at the stars and the moon, thinking about how much you've struggled for the different things and then coming to peace with yourself. Remembering and re- embracing life. The song is dreamy and delicate, just as a June night.
